Getting older is inevitable. Back pain is not. Routine strengthening and stretching, performed with awareness and proper alignment, can prevent and relieve symptoms. Included are breathing techniques to support the respiratory system, chest, and throat. To support your immune and respiratory system during the current health crisis, we will practice breathing techniques (prananyama) and therapeutic poses for resiliency, strength, and stamina.
In this hands-on (yourself) workshop, we will explore the therapeutic power of yoga to support the body’s natural healing and restorative process. You will learn common causes of back pain, postures that reduce strain and stabilize the spine, and techniques for back pain prevention, relief, and support.
